Volunteer Trip to Nepal
One of the primary goals of The CREO Institute is to create a common ground where people of great creativity and commitment can work and be together. We want to partner with individuals and organizations that are applying their creativity and compassion to make a greater impact in the world.
This summer 2011, we had the privilege of spending time with the 11 beautiful girls that live at the The Moonlight Children's Home in Kathmandu, Nepal. Having lost her father at a very young age due to poverty and illness, Juna Osti dreamt of being able to establish a home where other orphans and children in need could thrive and have the opportunity for a better future. She began with three children in her own rented apartment and with the help of her husband Ganesh and son Bimal, Juna has created a positive home for 11 girls from various regions of Nepal. Many of the girls who live at MCH were homeless and living on the streets or were living with parents who could no longer properly care for them prior to coming to MCH. The goal of Juna, Ganesh, and Bimal is to have 25 girls join their family.
The CREO Institute is helping the Moonlight Children Home to realize their goal of welcoming more girls into their home and family.
